World Cup action returns in Porec

After the winter break, the Archery World Cup 2010 started in Porec on Wednesday 5 May 2010. The rules changes decided by the FITA Congress last year did not affect today’s qualifications. It was a plain, simple, 70m Round (72 arrows at 70 metres) with a maximum of 10 points per arrow. Recurve athletes started the session in the morning. The compound ones followed in the afternoon and the American men’s team broke the world record! Tomorrow, the new Set System for individual matches will be shot for the first time at a World Cup!
