Competition format of the Archery World Cup 2010-2012
Lausanne – 1 December 2009
The FITA Council recently announced the rounds that will be shot in the Archery World Cup events of 2010-2012, following the decisions of Congress and in discussion with the Events Department.
The FITA Council made several important decisions during its meeting in Rome on 7-8 November. Some of them concerned the competition format and the rounds to be shot at the World Cup stages and final in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The Hit/Miss system shot at 50 metres will be tested in real time during two of the World Cup stages in 2010, before its wide application as of 1st April 2011. Antalya and Ogden will carry this task.

Please note that in 2012 there will be only 3 qualifying stages of the Archery World Cup, as a result of the Olympics taking place in Europe in August. All 3 results will count for the ranking.
